Inspired by Magnolia Road
Named after the legendary Magnolia Road in Boulder, Colorado, a route featuring everything from extremely steep switchbacks to fast gravel sections at elevations above 2,400 m, followed by connecting MTB trails. The Mags is a versatile saddle designed for both road and gravel riding. It is lightweight, ideal for moving forward on the saddle during gravel races or steep climbs, and designed to minimize thigh friction.
Saddle Details
- Dimensions: 240 mm long, 30.5 mm nose width, 146 mm rear width
- Rails: 7 mm round solid steel rails, engineered for exceptional strength and longer than those found on most saddles for greater fore-aft adjustability
- Friction-free design: Reduces the risk of thigh friction and pressure on soft tissue, especially when riding forward in an aggressive aero position
- Weight: The carbon shell combined with steel rails keeps the weight at approximately 235 g while significantly exceeding ISO standards
- Durability: A 3K carbon shell and solid steel rails create an exceptionally robust saddle
What Makes the Mags Special?
For more than 20 years, we searched for a saddle that could deliver everything: comfort in a more upright position, all-day support, all-out efforts at the limit, and maximum control when moving back on the saddle. We wanted zero pressure on soft tissue, no bunching of the chamois in the saddle’s central channel, and no thigh friction. So we developed dozens of prototypes, rode thousands of kilometres, and then rode even more.
Our experience with carbon allowed us to create the original saddle weighing under 125 g, featuring 7 × 9 mm unidirectional carbon rails. Now, the same proven shape is available with 7 mm solid steel rails.
The foam padding strikes the perfect balance between softness and firmness, adapting to your body while providing stable support. The durable cover material is ultra-thin, allowing the foam to perform as intended. Its surface is carefully engineered to allow subtle position adjustments while maintaining the ideal balance of grip and security.
