The same Mags trusted by the best athletes — now with bombproof solid steel rails and a more wallet-friendly price point.

The Mags is a road and gravel saddle designed to reduce overall bike weight while significantly increasing comfort.

Named after Magnolia Road in Boulder, a route that has it all: brutally steep switchbacks, rolling dirt roads at 8,000 ft elevation, and mountain bike trails at the top. Mags is a true do-it-all saddle built for both road and gravel riding. It's light, ideal for getting forward in gravel races or steep climbs, and keeps thigh rub to a minimum.

Saddle Details:

  • Dimensions: 24cm long, with a 30.5mm nose width and 146mm rear width
  • Rails: 7mm round solid steel rails that are extremely strong and longer than most saddle rails for improved fore/aft adjustment
  • No Rubbing: Designed to reduce thigh rubbing and soft tissue pressure, especially when riding aggressively on the front in an aero position
  • Weight: Carbon fiber shell and steel rail construction keeps weight to a respectable ~235g while greatly exceeding ISO standards
  • Strength: 3K carbon shell paired with solid steel rails that are virtually unbreakable

What Makes the Mags Special

For over 20 years, we searched for a saddle that works equally well for sitting up comfortably all day, pushing solo off the front at full gas, and dropping back when conditions get sketchy. We wanted zero soft tissue pressure, no chamois bunching in a cut-out, and absolutely no thigh rubbing. So we prototyped dozens of saddles and put in the miles — then many more.

Using our carbon expertise, we created the original sub-125g saddle with 7×9mm unidirectional carbon rails. Today, the same proven saddle shape is available with 7mm solid steel rails. The foam padding strikes the perfect balance — not too soft, not too firm — molding to the rider's body while providing excellent support. The ultra-thin, durable cover allows the foam to perform at its best, and the refined balance of grip and smoothness lets riders adjust their position while maintaining confidence and control.
